Starting March 11, 2023, Shield covers will need to be ordered from Shieldoutdoorcovers.com. An email about this change has already been sent to your email. If you didn't receive it, please email sales@shieldoutdoorcovers.com for details.
What's not changed: SKU, Pricing all remain unchanged.
What's changed:
- Ordering: Warehouse PO needs to be placed at Shieldoutdoorcovers.com; Factory direct POs still need to email to sales@shieldoutdoorcovers.com for processing;
- Payment: payee needs to be Shield Outdoor Covers. You can pay on shield website using credit card, or contact sales@shieldoutdoorcovers.com for other payment method.
- Warehousing: more wareshousing locations will be added to stock Shield covers in addition to our Southern California warehouse.
Website with PO Functionality
In 2021, we combined our dealer order entry system with our website!
Features:
- Account login:
- Anyone can view our products without login. However, no pricing information will be displayed for guests.
- If you're our existing dealer, please use your email for Handshake to sign up a NEW account. Once the account is created, you can log in and see your dealer pricing, company name, and address etc. automatically linked to your account. If you used a different email address, please make sure the company name is the same as that used in Handshake, and make sure billing and shipping address entered (for future orders to be processed properly). Then inform us about it so that we can associate your pricing to this account.
- If you're not our contracted dealer, the prices shown will be our Manufacture Recommended Retail Prices (MSRP).
- Product page: each product now has its own page with detailed information about it, such as material, color, dimension, arm height, seat height, pcs/carton, the matching cover, and stock quantity (update daily) etc. In addition, you can find our inventory quantity on this page, which is updated daily.
- Order records: all your historical orders will be kept under your account for review. Additionally, once your order is shipped, the tracking # for each item that was shipped will also be shown under your order records. (one caveat: if one sku was shipped in multiple times, only the last tracking number will be displayed)
- Notification: you will receive notification email once your order is submitted and shipped. If the order partially shipped, each email will contain the tracking number of most recent shipment. However the website, only the later tracking # will be displayed for any item that has multiple tracking numbers (find your email with the tracking number for previous shipped items in this order).
PO Related:
- Cushion: all the cushion prices listed are in solid color. To order upgraded cushion color, you will need to put Cushion Upgrade into your cart. Please refer to cushion upgrade for instructions. In addition, you will need to put the fabric name into the Customer Note field on the cushion page before you add it into the shopping cart. Without a cushion name, you won't be able to check out (if you found youself in this situation, remove the cushion from the card, then add it again with Customer Note filled with fabric name).
- Payment: most dealers are required to make a payment at the checkout page (pay with a credit card or ShopPay for installment plan). If you are an authorized dealer with approved payment term with us, you can choose "Contact Summerset for Payment Options". We'll contact you for the payment it's due.
- Dropship: you can place a dropship order by entering the shipping address (customer) and billing address (dealer) differently, Make sure the billing address is yours (the payer). Otherwise we might phone the customer for shipping charge payment later.
- Order in Set: we have created 30+ sets with cushions (color to be specified), burners, fire glass etc. You can find them at the bottom of the website "Shopy by Type/Special Offer".
